Boat Trips in Madeira

An extended version of the Ilhas Desertas tour, including overnight camping on the island! We anchor on the biggest deserted island. Here you will be able to leisurely walk around and see the amazing landscapes of this island and whether permitting, a pelagic trip along the coast to look for rare and wild marine birds. We will then serve dinner and turn in for the night, and early in the morning we will pack up our camping gear and head back to the main island, enjoying a yummy breakfast on the way!

*On the island, we offer the option of sleeping in a 12 person tent, in the open air, or on the boat. We request you bring along a sleeping bag or similar for camping. 

Explore the Deserted Islands aboard a cool catamaran! We depart from the Funchal Marina and take you to a group of three islands filled with spectacular scenery and varied wildlife! You get to hop onto speedy little RIB boats that will take you on land for a day of exploration!

To make this cruise even more fun, you’ll find gear for snorkeling and stand up paddling on board, or you can just take a refreshing swim in the cool waters of the Atlantic! And let’s not forget lunch, as you’ll get to enjoy a delicious Madeira style buffet

June is a month of the Atlantic Festival in which companies participating in pyrotechnics come together to compete for the best pyromusical show. The winner is chosen by the public and wins the trophy! So that you get the best view of this event, we have created a 1hr30min cruise on our catamarans. Get up close to the marine life of Madeira! This fantastic boat is the only one of its kind on the island and allows you to sit under the water level and see fish, dolphins and more! Basically, the boat has two parts to it. There is an upper level, where you can watch the passing scenery, and then there is an inner cabin – here you will find a bench where you will sit in between 8 glass panels surrounding you! This means you get a great view at what goes on under water, without having to actually swim.

If you prefer to get in the water and see things up close, bring along your snorkeling gear! This boat trip takes you to the spectacular Garajau Natural Reserve, an area with a wide variety of amazing fish such as the Pigfish, Grouper, Bream and so many more! Once we’ve visited the reserve, we will head out a bit further in search of wild dolphins, whales, turtles and many more amazing animals!
