Canyoning is great fun and a true adventure activity for those looking for a bit of a thrill on holiday! Learn rope maneuvers and get kitted up in our equipment and away we go! You’ll travel along waterfalls and rivers via abseiling, climbing rocks and even jumping into clear watered rock pools! Snack – on the full day tour

  1. Option 1 Half Day Canyoning Adventure

    Our half day canyoning adventure begins with pickups in the center of Ponta Delgada, and from here we will take you to the beautiful Nordeste region! After a safety briefing with your guide, it’s time to get kitted up and begin descending the river!

    The activity itself will offer you the chance to descend calm waters by scrambling and rappelling, as well as a few cliff jumps.

  2. Option 2 Full Day Canyoning Adventure

    Enjoy one of the largest watercourses of the island on this fantastic canyoning experience! Starting at Salto do Cabrito, you will get kitted up and our guides will give you a safety briefing before we begin. Then it’s time to brave the waters! As this is a full day activity, mid-way, we will stop for a light snack to boost your energy for the afternoon part of the activity, when the adrenaline really rushes through you!

    Duration: 6 hours
    Level of difficulty: Difficult

There are in fact a few:

Height and weight: we recommend for people that are a minimum of 1.2mt in height and there is a maximum weight limit of 120kg

Health: this activity is not suitable for pregnant women, or people who are afraid of heights

We recommend coming dressed in sporty and comfortable clothes and shoes. You will also need a swimsuit and towel and a backpack with water to keep you hydrated. If you have long hair, we also recommend bringing along an elastic to pull your hair up into a ponytail
