If you are coming out in the spring or summer and don’t want to miss out on a bit of adventure, try our Canyoning trip! In beautiful natural surroundings, you will get to descend the river by various means! Canyoning is an intense, yet fun filled adventure! The river itself is filled with lots of special locations to rappel, cliff jump, scramble and slide, so there will be a different activity to do at every turn!
We will start your adventure with pickup at your hotel in our 4x4’s, and away we go! Once we arrive at the river, our guides will give you a briefing on what to expect, on the equipment you will be using, particularly the ropes for rappelling!
Once everyone is in their wetsuits and helmets we begin! Descending the river is really fun – think of rafting, but with calmer waters and no raft! There are amazing rocks that form natural slides, cliffs that offer great diving conditions, and of course lots of great views!
Once we reach the end of the river, we will stop for a picnic lunch and get you changed back into your clothes before heading back to Porto. This is a full day of adventures you will never forget!

Yes! The minimum age for canyoning is 14 years, younger than that and we would recommend an alternative activity. If you are traveling with younger children, but would still like a bit of adventure, send us an email! We would be happy to help!
For canyoning, you are required to use a wet suit, helmet and harness. For that reason it is important to have these details beforehand, so that our guides can have the proper equipment ready for you on the day!
