We start your tour by driving you to the breathtaking peak of Salto do Cavalo, offering views over Povoacao and the ocean. Here we will stop at a traditional restaurant for lunch before the next part of our tour. Serra da Tronqueira is a lush forest that we will also take you to explore and home of the exotic Priolo bird! On clear days, the views extend to the highest point of the island, Pico da Vara, which rises over 1000 meters! On the way back, we will travel along the coast of the eastern and southern points of the island, with amazing viewpoints over the ocean.

The first part of your tour includes a visit to the famous Sete Cidades, with an additional tour of the Carvao Peak, which is 825 meters in height and offers you spectacular photo opportunities! Next we head to Empanadas Lake and also the famous King’s viewpoint. We will descend Sete Cidades and take you to the bottom to explore the two toned lakes up close, and enjoy a lakeside picnic lunch. From here we will take you into the village for some traditional activities that may include milking cows, baking fresh bread, or even participating in games with the locals!
